Busy busy times!
With the EURO, and all the preparatives for my travel to Brazil, I haven’t had the time to upload the postcards I’ve been receiving lately.
Here’s a quick recap of those 8 latest days:
That is what happens when you don’t send official cards anymore: you just receive them!
This week is what I can consider as an “EOW”! An Excellent Official Week!
I’ve received 6 cards, with three new countries to my list: Belgium, Great Britain, and Belarus!
From the closest country, Belgium, to Belarus in Eastern Europe, here are the beautiful cards I registered this week:
PS: La Grand-Place de Bruxelles is a World Heritage Site… and the finnish card is my third map card from this beautiful and snowy country!
6 new official cards, 6 new US States Map cards!
With the arrivals of Nevada, Rhode Island, and Washington DC cards, the number of states missing on my collection is now at 5, with 4 of them already on their way!
Let’s see if i find soon a North Dakota map card to finish it!
I already had a map card from the three other states, Nebraska, New York and Michigan, but I really enjoyed this cards, and I took them to add some new fresh colors while increasing my collection.
And also 6 “other” map cards! (6,6,6, the number of the beast!)
Three new regional maps with cards from South Wales, Côte D’Azur and the atlantic island of Madeira… and three wonderful maps from Estonia and Greece to add to my country maps list.
American and Asian cards on the first row, European on the second one.
Here are 7 new UNESCO Sites to add to the other many I have in the collection!
The Statue Of Liberty also goes to my “New Seven Wonders” section.
Two new cards for my little collection of postcards of soccer (or other sports) stadiums!
The Millenium Stadium of Cardiff, in Wales, and the Zentralstadion of Leipzig, in Germany, where 5 games of the 2006 FIFA World Cup were played.
And as a conclusion, two other cards!
The first one enter my MLB Ballparks collection, as a card of the home of the New York Yankees.
And the second one, even if it’s hard to believe, doesn’t join any of my collections! And that is the question:
How can Santorini not be on UNESCO World Heritage List?!
I don’t have the answer. Then another question: Does anyone have it?
Whatever.
Santorini is paradisiac. Period.
Bye bye ![]()
